As director of finance and operations, Kim Rose brings global expertise to GA in the areas of corporate finance, human resource, and operations.

Prior to joining GA, Kim was the director of Beach Business Management, creating new operational procedures and transparent financial management systems, solving problems and creating strategies for start-ups and established businesses. Kim has successfully shaped client defenses in audit situations, and created beneficial working relationships with state tax officials and IRS auditors. Kim provided expert business solutions, working within a multitude of industries, for U.S.-based and international clients.

Over the past 20 years, Kim has worked in the capacity of finance officer and operations manager at companies such as Texaco Refining and Marketing, New York market research firm Data Development Corporation, Swiss oil company Vitol S.A. Inc, and India software developer CoreObjects Software. Kim began her career working in media accounting for KCET Public Television, and worked with Discovery Channel and within the documentary film industry.

Kim has also had the pleasure of being the administrative director of an arts and theater nonprofit organization, dealing with Los Angeles gang prevention strategies, and supporting children in making good life decisions. Kim is an international micro lender with KIVA.org and has helped fund the dreams of over 100 low-income international entrepreneurs.

Kim is a Los Angeles native, and graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a B.A. in business communications.
