
In February, Gibraltar Associates hosted its first conference on social media and communications in Washington, D.C. The event, “New Media Resolutions for 2010,” was a huge success, featuring key stakeholders and thought leaders in an engaging discussion on how both the public and private sectors employ social media in executing their communications strategies. Panelists included representatives from the federal government, advocacy organizations and the business community. To supplement the event, Gibraltar created a Social Media Dictionary containing useful new media terms, phrases and tools.
