GA’s honorable mention was awarded for its work with the online campaign Natural Gas Vehicles Now (NGVsNow), which raised awareness of natural gas as a vehicle fuel. The campaign leveraged attention-grabbing video content and social media channels to drive traditional earned media and engage an online community to act. GA was retained by Clean Energy Fuels Corporation to develop, design and execute an online campaign through NGVsNow, an online coalition dedicated to increasing public support for natural gas-powered vehicles. GA’s campaign positioned the NGVsNow platform to quickly became one of the leading drivers of interest and information about natural gas as a vehicle fuel in the U.S.
