Adobe Shows iPhones No Love
Apr 23rd, '10In the list of things I worry about in life, getting Adobe’s popular Flash technology to work on my iPhone is one of them. Why? Because my iPhone allows me to surf all kinds of sports and news websites; yet, without Flash, I can’t access all of the content. Many people like me were happy to learn that Adobe was planning to invest in getting its technology to work on Apple gadgets. Today, however, we learn that Adobe is reversing its plans to develop iPhone code tools. No Flash for iPhone for the foreseeable future.
But – stop the presses – Adobe is concentrating instead on getting Flash to work on Google’s Android smartphone! Call this a casualty of the escalating strife between Google and Apple.
