Death of a Newspaper

Other than the bad pay, here is another reason why I left journalism. The AP reports that U.S. newspaper circulation is down 8.7 percent from a year ago. Sunday circulation was down too, almost 7 percent. In layman’s terms, this means people are reading the newspaper less in hard copy format.

Adobe Shows iPhones No Love

In the list of things I worry about in life, getting Adobe’s popular Flash technology to work on my iPhone is one of them. Why? Because my iPhone allows me to surf all kinds of sports and news websites; yet, without Flash, I can’t access all of the content.

Gibraltar debuts in the PR rankings

Well, six months shy of our third anniversary in business, Gibraltar Associates cracked into the top 100 rankings for PR firms in the U.S. O’Dwyers, the industry trade, has ranked us as #60 in our first year of eligibility. This is a pretty amazing feat considering the fact that three years ago we did not exist!
